ABSTRACT
Energy consumption is influenced by many social and economic factors and drivers. The tremendous increase of the population as well as the expected significant increase of domestic GDP may result in a significant increase in energy consumption. This paper talks about Alternative Energy and its challenges, Renewable Energy and its importance as well as Political relation with Energy. The US restrictions on Iran and EU support of Greece, are both recent examples of geo-politics. If US sanction is there on any country, almost all the countries would not do business with that country. Likewise, there are politics goes on between businessmen and business organizations.
Global warming is the talk of every city in the world, of late. The people have to live their own life as well as they have to make the next generations’ life comfortable. Leaders of all countries are discussing in many international conferences like G-20, G7 and conferences of climate or environment on how to manage the climate changes, how to avoid pollution and all. There are alterntive energies and renewable energies. Introducing alternative energies in all the countries is a challenge as they may have to implement reforms in some sectors in their countries.
Human activity is overfilling our environment with carbon dioxide and other global warming emissions. These gases act like a blanket, trapping heat. The result is a web of significant and harmful impacts, from stronger, more frequent storms, to drought, sea level rise, and extinction. In the United States, about 29 percent of global warming emissions come from our electricity sector. Most of those emissions come from fossil fuels like coal and natural gas. Wind turbines and solar panels are an increasingly common sight.
