How does the heart and blood flow respond to exercise?
When body is at rest, around 60% of blood is directed towards the liver and kidney. But as the exercise starts the blood flow is directed towards muscles and lungs because musclesdemand for blood increases. with imcrease in exercise systolic blood pressure also increases, thus hearts works more to oump blood and also circulatory system functions to widen the arterioles which carry the blood to muscles. This happens because musce requirement for glucose and oxygen will be fulfilled via blood only.
