Along and Angah inherited two pieces of land in Tasik Hijau District from their mother. Both of them held half (1/2) of the shares in the two plots. On 2nd of January 2003, Along transferred half (1/2) of his shares in the first plot of land to Angah and his son. Boy. Along transferred half (1/2 of his shares in the second plot of land to Gege. Angah's daughter, on 5th May 2003. Along's medical records showed he was diagnosed as chronic schizophrenic in 1998. The record also showed that he was in remission in 1999. However, a senior consultant psychiatrist from a reputable hospital, whom Along had consulted for his illness agreed that relapses are likely in schizophrenia as it is a lifelong illness. Along's mental illness dated back to the early 1990's and Angah and his children were fully aware of Along's mental disability. Along's medical record as of 20th August 2010 showed that he was still suffering from chronic schizophrenia. This record was confirmed by the senior consultant psychiatrist at the same hospital he had been treated for all those years.) (Discuss whether Along was indeed mentally unsound at the time of contracting and his mental illness had affected his mental capacity to execute the transfer of his shares in the inherited lands to Angah and his children.
